Buying with gearandgadget.co.nz is very easy… as explained
below:
The first thing you need to do to purchase with us is CLICK HERE TO
BECOME A GEAR & gadget MEMBER.
You’ll also find the button to do this
at the top left of the page.
Then you simply choose yourself a user name and password,
enter a few contact and delivery details, and you’re ready to go!
Now you can browse the site and place items of interest in
your Shopping Cart by clicking ‘ADD TO CART’ at the bottom of the product’s
page. The Shopping Cart has a memory… so until you purchase them, or
physically delete them, your chosen products will remain indefinitely in the
Cart for your future use.
Once you’re ready to buy the goods, click ‘CHECKOUT’ and
you’ll be taken through the buying process. Here you’ll be asked for your
preferences on billing and delivery addresses, and asked your preferred payment
method*.
*GEAR & gadget accepts payment by way of full deposit
into our Bank Account, Via Mastercard or Visa online through BuyPoint.. National
Banks Secure Card Processing Facility (if chosen you're automatically directed
here by our site during purchase), or via cash or cheque. Goods paid by
cheque will only ship once the funds have cleared in our account. See
below for more details.
Once you’re through, click on ‘CONFIRM ORDER’, and you’re
done!
We will send you a confirmation email stating the products
ordered and the total cost of your purchases. If for any reason the products
ordered are temporarily out of our stock, we will advise when the item is
expected to be in. You have the choice to either place the goods on back
order for future supply, or cancel all or part thereof the order. We will
confirm in writing via email our acceptance of your new decision in this
respect.
Please note that completing a sales form online does not
confirm the sale. The sale is finalised (contract has been formed) when we have
received payment in full and dispatched the goods to be delivered to you.
Payment Options
Cash paying customers will confirm the sale upon the
handing over of the cash payment to us at a location organised between the
parties in advance for this purpose, and the subsequent handing over of the
goods to the buyer.
Bank Deposit paying customers will receive an email
response with the purchase information outlined above, with the addition of our
Bank Account Details (Below) for you to use in depositing funds payable, be it
manually or via an electronic transaction with internet banking.

Your sale is confirmed
and finalised when we receive notification that funds have successfully
transferred from your bank account into ours. You will receive all the
information outlined above, and notification of the transaction status /

Online Finance Application:
Customers
paying via an Online Finance Application will receive all the email information
as do other customers, and will have your goods dispatched and sale confirmed as
soon as the finance organisation informs us of a successful application and
makes the relevant payment to us.
Cheques.
GEAR & gadget accepts
payments by way of Cheque. Please note however that goods will not be
dispatched until funds have cleared. Your confirmation email will
highlight our postal address (below).

All prices
are in New Zealand Dollars, and are subject to alteration at any time without
