Delivery
Organising delivery is very simple. During the
purchase process you’ll be asked for both your billing address and your delivery
address (Delivery cost will be calculated during this process). Most often these
two addresses are identical, but in some cases it is convenient to split them…
such as with purchases of gifts. In the latter cases we’ll mail your invoice to
the billing address, and send the products to the delivery address.
Liability
We are not liable for any fault in the delivery process once
goods leave our premises, or those of our suppliers. We will make every effort
to ensure delivery of goods and performance of services is on time and
acceptable, but will not be liable for any loss or damage arising in any way
from any delay in delivery or poor delivery performance. Please see Force Majeure.
All claims for shortage of goods or damage to goods during
delivery must be made to the carrier directly within seven days of the date
following delivery.
Delivery Insurance
Title of the goods passes to the owner (purchaser) of the
goods once in the hands of the delivery service.
The carrier has insurance up to the value of $1500 per
shipment (note: this is not per item). Thus, each shipment
will only be covered by the carrier for up to $1500.
We do not include additional delivery insurance with your
orders. If you require insurance it will be an additional expense. Please
advise us if you require your goods sent with insurance.
We stress that you look well over your goods upon delivery and
before signing to ensure they’ve arrived with no damage. Ask your driver
for advise on the required actions should you find the goods damaged. |
