GEAR & gadget product pages outline the specific
warranty for a given item, as stated by that products manufacturer or
supplier.
All warranties shall cover the goods when used under normal
operating conditions, whereby the goods have not been subject to use outside the
extremes of the stated specifications under normal conditions (see product
manuals for further reference).
Please note that unless stated otherwise all return delivery
costs to GEAR & gadget or their delegated agents are to be paid by the
customer. Re-delivery to the customer is paid by GEAR & gadget or
their agent (unless the claim is found to be void, in which case all
the delivery costs are to be paid by the customer). Faulty goods will be
repaired, replaced or refunded at the discretion of GEAR & gadget, or their
warranty agent, communicated to the buyer from either of these
parties.
In the case that a warranty claim is void (found to be caused by
customer actions outside of the allowed parameters) the customer can elect to
have the GEAR & gadget Warranty Repair Agent repair the goods (if possible)
at market rates (fair and reasonable cost) with costs charged to the customer.
Alternatively, they can choose to have any repairs conducted by an authorised
repair agent of their choosing. Note that repairs or alterations must be
conducted by professional repair agents (authorised by explicit and written
approval from GEAR & gadget) in order that future warranty claims may be
validated. Non-authorised repairs will void warranty claim rights. GEAR
& gadget does not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury, loss
or damage sustained by the buyer however arising. We are
committed to meeting our obligations as specified in the Consumer Guarantees Act
1993. Please note: the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply where
the buyer is acquiring goods for business purposes.
